About De Buorren Twa

About us

The Buorren Twa holiday apartments are part of a monumental farm in Paesens – Moddergat. This is a Coastal fishing village in the North-Eastern part of Friesland in the Netherlands.

History

The farmhouse was built in 1827 and its holiday apartments have been completely renovated and updated between 2011 and 2014. The renovation took place in an authentic way and added to the luxury demands of modern times. Each apartment is fully equipped with central heating and dishwasher.

The village

Paesens - Moddergat is one of the few villages situated immediately to a unique part of the Unesco World Heritage area of the Wadden Sea. The fisherman's Village is a unique marsh area which is perfect for hiking. Here you can experience the nature of the mudflats without getting dirty feet.

The monumental farm offers all year round a comfortable place to holiday makers, mudflat hikers and nature lovers. Our holiday apartments are 50 meters situated from the Waddezee and an ideal starting point to visit the National Park Lauwersmeer, Fishing Village Lauwersoog, the charming town Dokkum and the Frisian Islands Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.
